carlo calope is a visual artist and commercial photographer born and raised in the philippines. he is now based in montréal.
his background is in commercial photography but outside of that work, he's drawn to more experimental ways of photographic image making, exploring texture, layering and image distortion.
recently, he's been moving into printmaking as a way to slow down and work more with his hands.
